"The Hazing" review

The Hazing (2004)

Directed by Rolfe Kanefsky
Writing credits Rolfe Kanefsky

Brad Dourif.... Professor Kapps
Brooke Burke.... Jill
Nectar Rose.... Delia Rodgers
Philip Andrew.... Doug Leary
Tiffany Shepis.... Marsha Glazer

College kids. Scavenger hunts. Haunted Houses. Evil spirits. A girl in a bunny outfit killing and maiming. This movie has everything! "The Hazing" is my kind of flick. It's gory fun.

The comparisons to other horror movies are obvious and inevitable. "Evil Dead" and "Night of the Demons" spring to mind. Speaking of springing, check out the blonde, (Nectar Rose - how's that for a name?), in the bunny outfit and her sex scene with Dr. Tongue. I'm not going to lie to you. I live for scenes like that.

"The Hazing" does a good job of mixing the comedy with the blood and guts. This mixture usually doesn't work but this movie pulls it off. I had a good time.

SCORE: 3 out of 4 bunny girls - Faster Bunny Girl - Kill! Kill!

Don't forget about Tiffany Shepis, (far right). She gets some Hazing too. Tiffany and a girl in a bunny outfit? Great!

I remember seeing this film on the Horror Channel (Then called Zone Horror) and finding it to be a lot better than I expected when they showed the trailer before the film, but I could never remember the name until now, so thanks for that!

Good review, and as a suggestion, you might want to take a look at the Night of the Demons trilogy, their pretty fun 80s/90s popcorn horror flicks. That and the second one has a nun who's head can regenerate after decapitation, so thats at least worth a look :)
