My brother and I rented this one. Poor Ginger. She just can't get a break. No matter what time period she's in, she just keeps snapping. She's a surly teenage 21st century girl, she snaps. She's trying to help her sister, she snaps. She's a surly teenage 19th century girl, she snaps. Snap, snap, snap. The next sequel should propel Ginger into the future. "Ginger Snaps Forward". How about Ginger in a space station on the moon? She could snap everyday! She looks outside the space station, "Full moon...Again? RARRRRRHH!!"

As "Ginger Snaps" flicks go, this one was my favorite. "Ginger Snaps Back" is a straight forward B-movie. The sisters run into a fort that is being besieged by werewolves. Ginger gets attacked and starts to slowly snap under werewolf pressure. The rest of the movie has plenty of blood and guts as Ginger indulges her animal instincts. I had a good time.

SCORE: 2.5 out of 4 snapping Gingers
